De European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS) heeft op 23 september 2024 een bijgewerkte briefing uitgebracht over de EU Anti-Corruptierichtlijn. Deze briefing behandelt de nieuwste ontwikkelingen binnen het EU-wetgevingskader tegen corruptie, dat voor het eerst in mei 2023 door de Europese Commissie werd voorgesteld.

Het Gerecht bevestigt opnieuw het belang van het fundamentele recht van eenieder om zich te laten adviseren door een advocaat met het oog op het voeren van, het voorkomen van, of het anticiperen op een gerechtelijke procedure, en stelt vast dat dat recht niet in gevaar wordt gebracht door het betwiste verbod.
